Your visit to Langkawi isn’t complete without going on an island hopping tour! The island-hopping tour has three main stops. The first stop will be Dayang Bunting Island, an island shaped akin to a pregnant maiden when seen from afar. On this island, there is a freshwater lake that is said to to hold mystical properties to aid women who are infertile or childless in conceiving after dipping into the freshwater lake. You’ll also be able to participate in snorkelling, canoeing, and paddle canoeing activities.
Afterwards, the experienced boat captain will bring you to the open sea where Langkawi’s Eagle Square icon, the Brahminy Kite, nests nearby. Watch in awe as the eagles swoop down to tackle the bait given with expertise, and even perform somersaults mid-air.
The island hopping trip would end on a high note at Pulau Beras Basah, where you can spend an hour sunbathing or snorkelling to your heart’s desire on this uninhibited island. Although there is a refreshment stall with snacks and drinks for sale, the island is left to its natural surroundings and untouched in development, offering you a unique experience that you won’t be able to experience at the public beaches located by the accessible shoreline.
